At the end of 2013 I started working at Repaircafé in Winsum at the computer section to help people get their computer, laptop, tablet or Phone working as it should. From there I started offering my service and knowledge for people in the neighborhood.
During my internship at Noorderwind Computers I was offered a vacation job and worked the holidays between my school years. In addition to my repair work, I also had a lot of contact with customers which went really well. After the internship I also got a Saturday job as a substitute.
In the last year of my education I did an internship at Inter-Psy.
I really enjoyed my internship and was also responsible for a number of projects. I have also worked extensively with Windows Server and I have performed a number of network tasks including configuring switches and creating networks.
When I eventually graduaded I got a job at Inter-Psy as “werkplekbeheerder” which is my current job. I do service desk and administration of Windows Server systems. When we expand to another building in another city I go over there to examine the needs for internet connectivity, network closet, networking gear, thinclients, voip phones and access points.

A new building was built where Inter-Psy has a part of a floor for itself.
I was responsible for the network and the work places for our users.
The network closet has shared infrastructure. Inter-Psy rents parts of the second floor to other companies. The rent includes wifi and internet connectivity. Every company gets their own public ipv4 address and 1 uplink to a shared wifi infrastructure consisting of MikroTik hardware.
