Hello, my name is Bauke-Jan Davids, 22 years old and currently working for Inter-Psy as “werkplekbeheerder”.

I graduaded in November 2017 as a networkadmin at ROC Noorderpoort.
Before I studied at Noorderpoort I was interested in IT. At the age of 7 I already disassembled old computers and tried to reassemble them.

Almost everything I know about computers I learned by myself.
That is both hardware and software. And I try to keep myself up to date with everything going on in the IT business.

Also I like playing around with decomisioned Enterprise server hardware.
In my bedroom I have a small server cabinet (11U) with 2 Cisco switches and a HPE ML350 Gen9 which runs VMWare ESXi 6.7 U2. The mass storage is handled by a HPE Microserver Gen8 and the internet connectivity is handled by a Juniper SRX100.

And if I hit a roadbump somewhere be it hardware or software I keep trying until it is solved. and I work in a solution-oriented way within my work field.
